By 2007 there were many Smart Phones. Then, in June 2007, Apple launched the iPhone. It turned out to be the smartest of all. Not because it has the fastest processor or the most functions. No, that kind of technical detail is no longer that important (unless you are a geek ;-). The iPhone just turned out to be the smartest and most used Smart Phone of all the available models because it just works better. Result: 42.48 million sold to date (from October 2007 to Q1 2010). Remarkable! Indeed, because all Mobile Phone makers now look up to Apple, a mere newcomer to the mobile phone market, now perceived as the standard setter.
