The iPad - Has Apple done it again?

ImageOnce upon a time there were many smartphones. Then, in June 2007, Apple launched the iPhone. It turned out to be the smartest of all. Not because it had the fastest processor or the most functions. No, that kind of technical detail is no longer that important (unless you are a geek ;-). The iPhone just turned out to be the smartest and most used SmartPhone of all because it works and much better for most users. Result 42.48 million sold to date (since October 2007 as of Q1 2010). Remarkable. In deed it is because all mobile phone makers now look up to Apple, a mere newcomer to the mobile phone market, now perceived as a standard setter.

Will the new Apple iPad turn out to be as visionary as the iPhone?
