The RAID 0 disk striping function is a 1394b bridge board hardware feature requiring no extra software achieving full OSX 10.2-4 and Windows 200x/XP compatibility. Although the enclosure comes with a fan the TwinDrive is so quiet that is barely noticeable.
The metal Enclosure Size is 25.0cm x 15.5m x 9.0cm. Two FW800 9pin connectors
are provided. An optional FireWire 800 to 400 cable is available for
use on Firewire 400 computers. These Raid 0 TwinDrives achieve average
transfer speeds of 35000 - 45000 KB/sec on FW800. All drives come with a 3 year manufacturers warranty. All prices exclude VAT.
